The Zelvenskoye reservoir is located in the Zelvensky district to the south of the settlement. Zelva, occupies the 18th place in terms of area in the Republic and is the largest reservoir in the Grodno region. The basin of the reservoir is the floodplain of the Zelvyanka River. It was put into operation in 1983 with the aim of accumulating spring flood water for moistening and irrigating lands, as well as for regulating the flow of the Zelvyanka River, for cultural and fire-fighting needs, and fish farming.
The area of the reservoir is 1190 hectares. The maximum depth is 7.5 m, the average is 2.6 m. The reservoir is located in an ecologically clean region.
